What is it?
Winning in the Game of LifeTM is a school’s’ curriculum-based programme designed to build children’s emotional and spiritual intelligence leading to positive lifelong relationships and improved self-esteem.
It achieves this by helping children to discover how to tap into their inner strength and understand that the power to overcome any challenge lies within.
The programme was initiated in reaction to the UK Government introducing revised guidelines for spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development as part of the Primary school curriculum in 2012.
Designed for 6-11 year olds, WITGOL encourages children to reflect on their actions, to see challenges as opportunities, to develop self-worth, and to activate the desire to make a difference in the world around them.
The programme sees, amongst other things, a marked improvement in children’s ability to relate, their ability to work together, and their overall behaviour.
WITGOL is actively being promoted as a new programme for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and supports the OFSTED guidelines relating to British Values.

Why is the programme needed?
We are passionate about this critical aspect of education, because it actively prepares children for their future by helping them to develop a number of fundamental life skills, which include:
Problem solving, Self-esteem, Autonomy, Social confidence, Sense of direction
It has also been found to improve positive behaviours such as:
Adaptability, Communication, Leadership, Social Skills, Study Skills
Whilst decreasing negative behavioural traits such as:
Anxiety, Attention Problems, Atypicality, Conduct problems, Depression, Hyperactivity, Learning problems, Somatisation, Withdrawal
These skills and resulting behavioural changes help to give all of the children involved an understanding to work from when managing the opportunities, challenges and responsibilities they are to going to face in their future daily lives.
A Teacher’s manual containing 12 months lesson plans
Pupil’s reflective journal
13 animated (short video) lessons
There is also an additional optional booklet for parents and carers to engage with and show their support for the programme.
Once employed, the programme can then serve as an invaluable source of key SMSC development material supporting key emotional and spiritual development for thousands of children, giving them the tools necessary from which to create a successful future.
Our goal is to get this product into 100 schools during 2018 and more the year after as it is our belief that all children should have access to this education.
